Job Summary: Operating Room - Open Heart in Weston, Wisconsin. This role involves circulating outside of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) settings, with a primary focus on procedures such as CABG, valves, TAVR, VATS/thoracotomy, robotic lungs, and aneurysm repairs. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, with time allocated for unit-specific orientation and team-based call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional coverage until 5:30 PM, with a late start once per month.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA; minimum of 1 year of experience. Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating outside of cardiovascular operating rooms, specifically in Cesarean sections; scrub experience is not required for registered nurses.
• Float: Float within the main operating room or outpatient surgery center may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have experience with a clinical charting system, specifically Cerner.
  • All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
  • Up to 1 week of unit-specific orientation is provided.
  • Holiday and weeknight/weekend call responsibilities are rotated among team members, with a typical 10-15 days per month.
  • The facility's local rate is reduced by $8.00 per hour for candidates living within 80 miles.
