TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Arcata, California.
Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, travel work. Employment type: travel. Must have at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly
- Appropriately position patients for specific scans
- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) national certification with registration in computed tomography
- State‑specific licensing when required
- 3 years of additional related experience or certification may be required before assignment (e.g., ARRT (R))
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
