Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in York, Maine. Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health‑care professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Technologist practice.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.

Physical Abilities

• Maintain a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.

• Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism.

Technical/Motor Skills

• Grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.

Mental Requirements

• Cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Work under close supervision occasionally, as well as independently when needed.
• Handle irregular activity schedules occasionally with continuous concentration on detail.

Sensory Requirements

• Possess visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively.
