Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in York, Maine. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health‑care professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Technologist practice.

- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
Physical Abilities
- Maintain a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.

- Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism.
Technical/Motor Skills
- Grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
Mental Requirements
- Cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Work under close supervision occasionally, as well as independently when needed.
- Handle irregular activity schedules occasionally with continuous concentration on detail.
