Travel CT Technologist

• Hospital: Grand Strand Medical Center
• Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
• Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:30 AM
• Shift Type: Night Shift
• Duration: 13 Weeks

General Information

• Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds : 400
• Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners
• Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights
• Type of equipment : Client 512, Client 128, Client 32 slice
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: n/a
• Floating policy: n/a
• Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited.
• CT – ACR accredited

Hiring Profile

• Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting
• Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate Client CT equipment independently

Must have:

• Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP s.
• Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IP s to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.
• Certifications Required: BLS
• ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.
• Radiology Tech License
