Travel CT Technologist

Position Overview

Travel CT Technician – 13‑week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technician to operate CT scanners, produce cross‑sectional images, and support the radiology team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred qualifications :

• Current ARRT certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and image accuracy
• Set technical parameters for accurate anatomy and pathology representation
• Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies for patient and staff safety
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills

Physical and Other Requirements

• Physical abilities – Maintain stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel with a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Technical/motor skills – Fine manipulation, push/pull, and movement during procedures.
• Mental requirements – Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without close supervision, maintain concentration on detail.
• Sensory – Visual acuity and effective communication.
