Position Overview
Travel CT Technician – 13‑week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technician to operate CT scanners, produce cross‑sectional images, and support the radiology team.
Qualifications
- 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred qualifications :
- Current ARRT certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and image accuracy
- Set technical parameters for accurate anatomy and pathology representation
- Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies for patient and staff safety
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
Physical and Other Requirements
- Physical abilities – Maintain stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel with a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Technical/motor skills – Fine manipulation, push/pull, and movement during procedures.
- Mental requirements – Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without close supervision, maintain concentration on detail.
- Sensory – Visual acuity and effective communication.
