Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night-shift hospital assignment requiring at least 1.5-2 years of hospital CT experience and proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment.
Job Details
• Short term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds,
• Part of a larger health system,
• Work in the CT department supporting adult and pediatric outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients,
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM,
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed by the department,
• Required to float between two hospital locations across two states,
• Uses Epic for charting,
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment,
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies,
• Performs special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and vascular CTA,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1.5-2 years of hospital CT experience required,
• BLS certification required,
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required,
• CT and RI state licenses required if applicable,
• Epic charting experience required,
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required,
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred,
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred,
• Skills in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement preferred,
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration,
• Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture skills preferred,
• One professional reference required,
Additional Information
• Candidates must apply for required state licenses prior to submission, as processing can take 15-21 business days,
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role,
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted,
• Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler,
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved,
• Flu vaccine is required with no declinations accepted,
• COVID vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical exemptions,
