Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a CT Scan unit requiring ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.

Requirements

• ARRT certification as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R), with CT specialization required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
• Venipuncture certification preferred
• Must be able to care for patients across the lifespan from adolescents to geriatric populations

Responsibilities

• Work within the CT Scan department of a hospital setting
• Perform CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Specific workdays to be discussed with the hiring manager
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information related to imaging procedures
• Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventory
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel pay
