Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring CT competency, EPIC experience, and ARRT certification.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
• 3 years of technical experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• RT license in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT certification required, including ARRT-R
• Current certification in one modality with ability to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET)
• Additional modality-specific certification required (such as ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARMRIT, ARRT-NMT, SNMT, ARRT-S, RDMS, RDCS, CCI-RCS, or RTPET)
• EPIC experience required

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting within a 122-bed facility
• CT Scan unit
• Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts, Sunday through Wednesday
• No call requirements
• No OR responsibilities
• Must have current CT modality experience
• Must have EPIC experience
• Performs at least three imaging modalities on a regular basis
• Responsible for the operation of x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment
• Performs radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with experience
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
• Tests defibrillator and checks integrity of crash cart
• Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary
• Safely prepares contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates
