Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a free-standing ER setting requiring ARRT (R)(CT) registry and trauma experience.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• TMB license required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
• CT registry required
• Trauma experience required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Free-standing emergency department imaging setting with 10 beds
• Staffing includes 1 imaging tech, 2 nurses, and 1 lab tech per shift
• Performs a large variety of ED exams with no outpatient imaging
• Uses GE 64 CT scanner, Konica digital XR room, and Konica digital portable equipment
• EMR is Meditech with Synapse PACS
• Rotating weekend night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating schedule: Week 1 Thurs/Fri/Sat, Week 2 Sun/Mon/Tues
• Optional call requirements
• Handles a wide variety of ED imaging cases across CT and X-ray modalities
• Dress code includes sage green scrub top and black scrub bottoms, or all black for contract labor, with black or sage jackets only
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, with no exceptions for local candidates
• One professional reference required unless applying in Florida or Missouri, which require two
