Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT/R certification and at least 1 year of CT experience to provide independent CT and X-ray coverage.

Requirements

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required, 2+ years preferred
• IV competency and experience with CTA required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficient in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Skilled in imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting supporting adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
• 2x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, including weekends
• Weekend/holiday coverage required only if a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday
• No call requirements
• Uses Altera EMR and McKesson/Change PACS systems
• Performs portable X-ray and X-ray per facility protocols
• Must be able to independently cover both CT and X-ray when staffing is limited
• Performs CTA, contrast administration, and vascular CTA studies
• Utilizes GE and Siemens CT equipment
• Flu vaccine exemptions are not accepted
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven
