American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration to perform CT imaging procedures across a range of patient ages.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required
- ARRT Registered as RT(R) or RT(N)
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not held at hire, must be obtained within 1 year
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board - license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Ability to insert and remove IVs
- Knowledge of special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred
Responsibilities
- 13-week assignment in a Cat Scan/CT unit
- Shift schedule Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
- Uses Epic for charting
- Start date may be adjusted based on credentialing clearance timeline
- Performs CT procedures under the direction of a physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
- Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
- Follows federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA
