American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration to perform CT imaging for patients of all ages.
Job Details
• 13-week assignment in the Cat Scan department,
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM,
• Serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatric age,
• Uses Epic for charting,
• Start date is contingent on completion of credentialing clearance,
Job Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology,
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required,
• ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred,
• If no CT license at time of hire, must obtain CT License within one year,
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred),
• License required if applicable,
• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred,
• Skilled in inserting and removing IVs,
Additional Information
• Performs CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager,
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies,
• Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with safety protocols,
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed,
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, Massachusetts, at a reduced rate
