Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of Siemens CT experience for a Level I Trauma facility.
Job Details
• Level I Trauma Center hospital setting,
• CT Tech unit supporting adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and pediatric acute care populations,
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and vascular CTA studies,
• Special procedures include brain perfusion, CT colonography, CT arthrography, and transplant studies,
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system,
• Epic charting system required, McKesson experience preferred,
• Evening shift, 4x10 hours, Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM,
• Candidates may float within scope as needed,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including recent Siemens equipment experience,
• Trauma Level I experience required,
• ARRT (R)(CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required,
• VA or compact state RN license required if applicable,
• Epic charting experience required,
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred,
• BSN preferred, though diploma and Associate's degree graduates from accredited programs are accepted,
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration and starting peripheral IVs preferred,
• 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required,

• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions,
• First-time travelers considered if candidate has 2+ years of Siemens experience,
• Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler,
• Facility maintains a natural nail policy,
• Facility is a drug, tobacco, and smoke-free workplace,
• Candidates assigned to ER or Psych units must complete fingerprinting per Virginia code, with results typically taking 15-20 business days; candidates may not start with results pending,
• All candidates complete required orientation modules through the VCU Learning Exchange, to be finished by the Friday of orientation week,
• Time-off requests must be submitted at time of application for manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of assignment and holidays are not guaranteed
