American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring 2+ years of clinical CT imaging experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a role at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
- State of Wisconsin Radiographer License required if applicable
- ARRT Registries in Radiography (R) and CT required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Skills in abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and vascular CT imaging preferred
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture preferred
- Knowledge of multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement preferred
Responsibilities
- Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday through Friday with variable days starting at 0800
- No call requirements, though weekend shifts may be needed based on operational demands
- Uses GE CT equipment and PACS imaging system
- Epic charting system experience required
- May float as needed
- Perform CT imaging across adult and pediatric populations in acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
- Facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center
- Must pass required testing with strict passing criteria prior to start
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- First-time travelers may be considered
