American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT registration and EPIC experience to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
- Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (required in CA)
- Advanced Certification in CT modality required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- License required if applicable
Responsibilities
- Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Variable shift schedule with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- EPIC experience required
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
