Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multi-modality XR/CT position supporting a mobile emergency response unit, requiring 2+ years of CT and X-ray experience along with ARRT (CT)(R) certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• ARRT (CT)(R) certification required
• Florida state license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience, including 2 years specifically as a CT Technologist
• Must have both CT and X-ray experience to qualify
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
• Ability to clearly communicate exams and procedures to patients
• Proficiency with computer software and basic troubleshooting
• Must maintain competency in a minimum of two imaging modalities

Responsibilities

• Mobile imaging unit that travels to the field for emergency response services
• Multi-modality role requiring proficiency in both CT and X-ray procedures
• Serves patients of all age groups
• Uses EPIC (Radiant) EMR system
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend included
• 36 hours per week with on-call responsibilities as requested
• Floating required
• Canon CT scanner experience preferred but not required
• Unit manager conducts candidate interviews
• Local candidates may be considered under the facility's 50-mile radius rule
• Previous travel experience is required for this assignment
• No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 8 RTO days allowed for the 13-week contract
• Florida ACHA licensing may take up to 14 business days to process
