Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to support overnight CT and diagnostic X-ray operations, requiring ARRT registration and experience with GE CT equipment.

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (CA)
• License required if applicable
• Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in CA
• Current BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
• Experience with GE CT equipment required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months

Responsibilities

• Located in a 173-bed hospital serving the Central Valley community
• Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• 3x12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Provides coverage in both CT and diagnostic X-ray
• Cares for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures patient data integrity and adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
• Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
