American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a 234-bed tertiary hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience
- Active BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
- All BLS and certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- South Carolina license required if applicable — candidates with a license in hand will be prioritized, though pending licensure may be considered
- Siemens CT equipment experience required
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Radiation badge must be provided by your agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
Responsibilities
- Work setting is a tertiary hospital with 234 staffed beds
- CT Tech unit
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required
- Charting via Epic
- Siemens CT equipment experience required; Philips experience preferred
- Free parking on site
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on the position
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
- Black/teal scrubs required
