Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience and current ARRT certification for a 24-hour, high-volume CT department covering weekend night shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT specialty required


• Current BLS and ARRT certification required


• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• 24-hour CT department equipped with 3 Siemens scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, and Force)


• Average of 130 exams per day during the week and 80 exams per day on weekends


• Services both inpatients and outpatients


• Procedures include coronary angio, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols


• Uses Bayer Medrad contrast injector and Cerner EMR


• Weekend schedule of Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM


• 3x12 hour night shifts per week


• No on-call requirement


• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)


• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered


• Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service before being eligible
