American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and CT/ARRT registration for an acute care hospital radiology position.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- ARRT (R) and CT registration required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to perform CT procedures such as biopsy, drainage, coronary CTA, and nerve root blocks, or at minimum perform fluoro on the CT machine
- MRI experience preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology department
- 154-bed Duke LifePoint facility with a Chest Pain Center designation
- CT specialty with possible cross-training into MRI
- Adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patient population
- Patient ratio of 20-30 patients per tech across two techs
- Uses GE imaging equipment and Paragon EHR
- Day shift schedule around 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend hours only required when using PTO
- On-call rotation a couple of nights per week, shared among staff
- Potential to float to MRI when possible
- Facility is Joint Commission accredited and offers services including orthopedics, spine, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health
- Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not permitted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
