Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift assignment supporting adult and geriatric patients.

Details

• Work in a CT department with 8 rooms serving adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes every weekend and one weekday
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS
• Epic charting experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT Tech experience
• ARRT CT certification required
• Active Michigan (MI) license required at time of submission; compact licenses not accepted; license required if applicable
• Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment
• Skills in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, isolation precautions/PPE
• Proficiency with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA
• Experience imaging head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and abdomen/pelvis regions

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings, including trauma cases
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after one year away from the facility
• All requested RTO must be submitted upfront, with no RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date
• Onsite orientation includes completion of required training modules
