Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least 2 years of experience for a night shift assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Michigan state license required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Radiology/CT department serving adult and geriatric patients
• 8 CT rooms with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS
• Epic charting system required
• Performs special procedures including coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage studies
• Handles head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, and soft tissue neck studies
• Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar studies
• Conducts chest imaging including calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and pulmonary embolism studies
• Performs abdomen and pelvis imaging including enterography and colorectal studies with rectal contrast
• Responsible for contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Performs image display and post-processing including multiplanar reconstruction and ROI measurement
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Two professional references required from a manager or supervisor; charge RNs not accepted
• No time off permitted during the first week of the contract
• Former Michigan Medicine employees cannot apply if employed there within the last 12 months
• Permanent staff may return as travelers after a one-year separation
