Overview

A CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. They ensure patient safety, produce high‑quality images, and maintain imaging equipment following established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging studies per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Interpret and validate images before delivery to the physician.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year current work experience in CT.
• New York State Healthcare Provider License or willing to obtain one.

Certifications Needed

• BLS
