Job Summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Boston. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, ensuring image quality, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists. Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and image accuracy.
- Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT tech practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification.
- Additional certifications and licenses may be required.

- English reading, writing, and comprehension skills, plus PC proficiency.
- Physical Abilities – Ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.

- Technical/Motor Skills – Fine manipulation and ability to assist with procedures and departmental equipment.
- Mental Requirements – Ability to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently or under occasional supervision.
- Sensory – Visual acuity and clear communication.

Pay & Hours
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
