Travel CT Technologist

General Information

• Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds - 24
• Number of Staff – 14
• Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs
• o Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
• o Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume
• Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient
• Type of equipment – ALL Client Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
• EMR – Meditech
• Call Requirements- yes 4-6 shifts a month (on off day)

Typical hiring profile

• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Radiology Tech License, ARRT (CT), BLS & Florida State DOH License
• Strongly prefer experience with Client and Meditech
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays
• Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment

• Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients
