Travel CT Technologist - $3,584 per week

Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Bay Shore, New York, starting 05/18/2026. This travel position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour night shifts, and is classified as travel employment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of the CT equipment, monitor the machine, patient, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a health‑care setting as a CT Technologist.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Valid state licensure required in most states.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
