Shift & Schedule
- 2 positions available, 13 week assignments
- Position 1: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts on Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Position 2: 40 hours per week, 4x10 or 5x8 shifts
Responsibilities
- Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
- Demonstrates competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
- Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients.
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
- Ensures a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
- Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
- Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
Required Skills & Experience
- Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager that may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Preferred Education: N/A
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT certified in Radiography.
- Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
- BLS.
- Preferred: ARRT (CT).
- Manager required: ARRT R and BLS; ARRT CT preferred.
