Qualifications

• Minimum eighteen months experience as a CT Technician in a health care setting.
• Must hold ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• State licensure as required by the state.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set equipment controls, monitor equipment and patients, and adjust settings as needed.
• Assist the radiologist with imaging procedures, including IV placement and contrast injection.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate images in sequence.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient-centered, timely, and compassionate care.
• Promote a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
