CT / X-Ray Technologist (Primarily CT)

IMPORTANT: This is a CT/X-Ray Tech position.

• CT is the primary modality
• X-Ray experience is REQUIRED

Submission & Eligibility Requirements

• RTO must be noted and verified at upload
• RTO after upload will NOT be approved
• Maximum 5 days RTO allowed (less preferred)
• 50-mile radius rule strictly enforced
• Berkshire Health System will NOT consider travelers living within 50 miles
• Permanent address must be included at profile upload

COVID Requirement (MANDATORY)

• COVID vaccination required (dose on or after 10/3/23)
• Vaccination card or intent to submit exemption form must be uploaded with profile
• Approved exemptions require provider/religious leader signature
• If exempt, traveler must wear a mask at all times on site

Role Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT and diagnostic radiology procedures
• Apply independent judgment and critical thinking to support diagnosis
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS systems
• Use PACS, HIS, RIS appropriately
• Maintain infection control, OSHA compliance, and patient confidentiality
• Communicate effectively (written, verbal, Tiger Text)
• Maintain annual mandatory education and department competencies
• May assume supervisory or instructional duties as assigned

Orientation & Pay

• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
• OT / Holiday / Call-Back multiplier: 1.25×
• Call pay: $4/hour
• Charge duties: Not applicable
