Job Summary

A CT Technologist position is available in Albany, New York. This role involves performing technical procedures related to computed tomography (CT) scans in a fast‑paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The incumbent will provide patients with safe and positive experiences while supporting teaching and continued learning. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Location: Albany, NY
• Schedule: Mon‑Thurs, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM (no on‑call responsibilities), minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an approved two‑year American Medical Association (AMA) Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate (high school +1). Possession of New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York State. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Entry level, with limited or no experience; the Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) level will be assigned based on skill set and experience.
• Additional Information: Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement. The work involves performing CT scans on a variety of patients, including trauma, outpatient, inpatient, and research patients, while practicing radiation safety as per New York State Department of Health code part 16.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
