Job Summary:
nThe CT Technologist position is located in a healthcare facility that serves a diverse patient population including outpatients, emergency department, inpatients, and trauma cases. This role involves performing computed tomography scans with advanced imaging equipment, primarily within a Level IV Trauma Center setting. The successful candidate will provide essential imaging support for a variety of diagnostic procedures, including stroke-related imaging and other specialized scans, contributing to the quality care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
n
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification, Wisconsin State License, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of acute care CT experience.
n
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Canon and Toshiba CT scanners, IV starts, CT perfusions, biopsies, and special procedures.
n
• Float: No float rotation required.

  • Unit has 2 CT scanners, shared back-to-back with control room, and a team supporting imaging operations.
  n
  • On-site support includes a radiology nurse, imaging patient assistant, and house supervisor available for IV support after hours.
  n
  • Training includes 3 days of unit orientation.
  n
  • The team comprises 2 CT technologists during the day shift and 1 after 6:30 PM, with no on-call requirement.
  n
  • Technology includes EMR: EPIC preferred, PACS: McKesson, and Med Dispensing: Pyxis.
  n
  • Equipment includes Canon 80 and 40 slice scanners.
  n
  • The unit promotes a fun, close-knit work culture.
  n
  • Scrub uniforms should be solid colors with no graphics or logos.
  n
  • Parking is free, and no holiday work is required unless it falls on scheduled days.
  n
  • Scheduling follows a set cycle based on requisition details.
  n
  • Candidate must be available for a scheduled start date of 09/28/2026, with an end date of 01/23/2027.
