Job Summary: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at an acute care facility located in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves performing quality CT exams across a variety of procedures, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, interventional, and trauma scans. The position requires proficiency with GE equipment and adherence to department standards. The technician will participate in a structured orientation and provide patient-centered care during their shift.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License, ARRT(CT)(R) certification, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience, proficient with GE equipment, and basic computer skills including email use.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, GE equipment experience, and prior work at Nebraska Medicine within the last 12 months.
- Additional Information:
- Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours.
- Call-off policy allows the client to give 36 hours' notice every 13 weeks.
- Floating within the CT department and across locations, but still under the same management.
- Dress code: red scrubs or red t-shirt with Nebraska Medicine emblem.
- Six-week orientation program with assigned preceptor and midpoint evaluation.
- Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with call requirements, holidays, and potential schedule adjustments as needed.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) and McKesson PACS system.
