Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing as a CT Technologist is sought for an assignment in California. This position involves performing computed tomography procedures within an acute care setting, with schedules primarily consisting of dayshift hours. The role emphasizes technical proficiency and the ability to adapt to different scanner types while maintaining compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour days, Friday through Sunday from 07:00 to 17:30, and Monday from 09:00 to 19:30. The schedule includes initial floating requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R); Education requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience; Location requirements are in California; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Siemens scanners and Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion 64 and 16 models. Training can be provided for technologists without specific experience on this type of scanner. The hospital's cancellation policy allows cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting is completed using the Cerner system.
