Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active CT and ARRT certifications for a travel assignment at a Magnet‑designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
- Position alternates between an inpatient hospital setting and an outpatient imaging center, with the majority of shifts at the outpatient facility.
- Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center designation.
- Short‑term acute care facility with 632 staffed beds.
- Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents.
- Day shift: 8‑hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; Evening shift: 8‑hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- 2–3 weekends required per month.
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred.
- Scrubs: light blue.
- Free parking available with badge access to parking garage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience.
- Active CT certification and ARRT required.
- Inpatient, ER, and Level I Trauma experience required.
- Experience with IV and contrast administration required.
- Michigan state license must be active by start date; compact licenses are not accepted in MI.
- All allied candidates must provide proof of high school‑level education.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required.
Additional Information
- First‑time travelers are not accepted for this position.
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates.
- RTO must be submitted at the time of profile; maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment.
- Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration.
- Orientation includes Epic training for those without prior experience.
- Pre‑start modules are required and vary by specialty.
Compensation
Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
