Qualifications

• At least 18 months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• State licensure as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Adjust equipment controls and monitor both equipment and patient, making necessary adjustments.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate images, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform related clerical duties.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injection pumps for contrast media.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused, compassionate, and timely care environment.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, following national patient safety initiatives.
