Job Summary

A CT Technologist position is available in The Dalles, Oregon. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The position also includes performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. This position is represented by OFNHP.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift with a 12‑hour shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in CT modality (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred in California and Oregon); Venipuncture certification (preferred in California and Oregon); ARRT-Computed Tomography certification (required)
• Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric; produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images; maintains accurate records; ensures patient data confidentiality following HIPAA regulations; performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory; performs other related duties as assigned
