Job Summary:
nThe healthcare provider is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist for a rotating shift position in the San Joaquin County area. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosing various medical conditions, as well as performing additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy. The position requires the ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, ensuring accurate imaging and data protection in compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations.

- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Radiologic Technician (RT) licensure in California; advanced certification in CT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment; venipuncture certification in California if performing contrast administration. n
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; additional facility-specific certifications. n
- Additional Information: Operates CT equipment and performs imaging procedures, including sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely. Maintains accurate records and ensures patient confidentiality in adherence to HIPAA. Performs routine equipment maintenance, manages supplies, and performs other related duties as assigned. n
