Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring current ARRT registration with CT certification for a 3x12 Day Shift contract.

Details

• Work in the CT Scan department of a hospital setting
• Perform CT imaging as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Care for patients ranging from adolescents through geriatric populations
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer
• Day Shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Requirements

• ARRT registration required: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)
• Advanced Certification in CT modality required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment preferred
• Venipuncture certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across the age continuum
• Maintain accurate records, files and billing information
• Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
• Local candidates accepted with rates equal to travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
