Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Siemens scanner experience for an adult outpatient breast center setting.

Details

• Outpatient breast center setting
• Adult outpatient patient population
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Holidays required as needed
• Weekends required as needed
• Uses Siemens CT scanner equipment
• May be required to float to different units within the organization as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT CT and BLS certifications required
• State license required if applicable
• HS diploma and college diplomas/transcripts required, with education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience with IV starts, venipuncture, and contrast media preparation/administration
• X-ray procedure experience with extremities, abdomen, chest, head/neck, and spine
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis studies, including colorectal and enterography studies
• Experience with head and neck studies including carotid, sinuses, and soft tissue neck
• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal studies including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Experience with chest studies including cardiac calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and vascular chest imaging (PE, CTA, aorta)
• Experience with vascular CTA procedures
• Skilled in accessing ports
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest studies with and without contrast
• Responsible for contrast media preparation and administration, IV starts, and venipuncture
• Utilize advanced post-processing techniques including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for the second reference; coworker references not accepted
• Former employees eligible for assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this organization
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Requested time off must be submitted with the contract and built in prior to start
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing contract
