Job Summary

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. This role includes a variety of imaging procedures, encompassing general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
• Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the imaging area.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program.
• Certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with specific CT certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
