Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for an immediate assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position starts on 06/29/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week, and consists of 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
- Appropriately position patients to scan specific body areas.
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State‑specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 year.
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), additional certifications as required.
- Physical capability to perform required tasks.
TotalMed Allied Job ID # . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). The role is a travel assignment and will be tax‑free.
