CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality – Charlotte, NC
Travel CT Technologist position in Charlotte North, North Carolina. 13-week assignment, 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week). The role is a travel assignment, requiring you to reside at least 50 miles outside the home unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and general X-ray examinations.
- Operate portable X-ray equipment for both in-patient and out-patient settings.
- Provide high-quality imaging services in a busy 18-bed emergency department and outpatient imaging area.
- Work scheduled nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Be on call 3–4 shifts per month; work approximately 75 percent of holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years dual Rad/CT experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; dual role ARRT-R-CT preferred.
- Ability to work night shift and travel.
Facility & Department Overview
- 18-bed free-standing Emergency Department (24 beds including RME).
- No trauma designation; 24/7 X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services.
- Average 108 ED visits per day; 100 radiology (DX) & CT studies per day.
Equipment & Systems
- CT Scanner: Siemens XCite.
- PACS: Philips iSite; X-ray: Shimadzu RadSpeed; Portable X-ray: Client AMX.
- EMR: EPIC; RIS: Epic Radiant; Power injectors: Bayer/Medrad.
Orientation & Support
- 1-day administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policies).
- 2 days to 1 week department orientation as needed.
- Department leadership available for support.

Compensation
Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
