Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images for Radiologists for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Ability to read and write in English; proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel.
• Technical/motor skills for hands‑on manipulation and equipment handling.
• Mental resilience to cope with frequent public contact and deadlines under pressure.
• Sensory awareness for visual acuity and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.
