CT Technologist responsibilities include:

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures, providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients for scan of specific body areas.
• Operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance imaging.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Additional certifications (e.g., ARRT, BLS, ARRT (CT) 2 Years) may be required before assignment.
