Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 15‑week assignment in Washington, Missouri.

Job Details

Position: Travel CT Technologist
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 15 weeks
Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour days)
Employment Type: Travel

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
  • Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
  • Provide high‑quality images to radiologist for interpretation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Other certifications and licenses that may be required for this position.

  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities – Remain in stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel with a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Technical/Motor Skills – Perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
  • Mental Requirements – Handle frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally and without assistance, manage irregular activity schedules, and maintain continuous concentration to detail.
  • Sensory – Possess visual acuity and effective communication.
