Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Idaho Falls, ID, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of CT experience including trauma and stroke.
Details
- CT Scan department within a 400‑bed main hospital building
- GE Optima 64‑slice and GE Revolution EVO 64‑slice scanners used
- Meditech used for documentation
- Department is staffed 24/7
- Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday through Tuesday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Four shifts per week, 40 hours per week
- Floating within the department to cover open shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- At least 1 year of CT trauma experience required
- At least 1 year of CT stroke experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Experience with pediatric CT exams is preferred
- Black scrubs are required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
