CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience requiredn
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience requiredn
• Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, pediatric acute care, and adult ICU requiredn
• Strong background in abdominal, pelvic, chest, head/neck, spine, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction imagingn
• Experience preparing and administering contrast median
• GE and Siemens equipment experience requiredn
• PACS experience requiredn
• BLS and ARRT-R requiredn
• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required at time of start, or a compact license if applicablen
• References requiredn

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsn
• Review requisitions for completeness and verify patient and exam details prior to imagingn
• Select appropriate CT imaging protocols and adjust equipment for optimal image qualityn
• Administer oral and IV contrast as appropriate and document contrast use accuratelyn
• Complete screenings, consents, paperwork, and exam documentation in a timely mannern
• Localize pathology through high-quality scanning procedures across multiple body systemsn
• Support efficient workflow while maintaining safe, patient-centered caren
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility needsn
