Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT certification (preferred)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. The role includes preparing patients for procedures, positioning them with safety and image accuracy in mind, following imaging protocols, working closely with radiologists, maintaining equipment, keeping patient records, and ensuring radiation safety.

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue
• Prepare patients and explain the imaging process
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
• Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment
• Document patient information and procedural details accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned to the scope of CT Tech practice
