Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography scans ensuring accurate image capture.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning.
• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
• Interpret doctor’s instructions and position patients appropriately.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation protection safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) national certification and registration in CT.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
