Job Summary:
Cleveland, Ohio A CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position specializing in multi-modality imaging is available. This role involves performing diagnostic CT procedures independently across multiple modalities, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and adhering to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in imaging protocols and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Equivalent / GED; Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology; meet education requirements for applicable modalities; 1+ years of experience in the first radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in at least one modality; licensed by the state of Ohio.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CT modality.
- Additional Information: Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills and knowledge of all equipment and machines used in each area. Ability to troubleshoot, perform quality control, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements and follows hospital and departmental guidelines for patient safety and identification, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
